Rita N. Schulz is a committed lecturer with over ten (10) years of experience at one of the leading Kenyan Universities, Moi University, Eldoret; School of Tourism, Hospitality & Events Management, department of Hotel & Hospitality. She posses excellent communication skills, constructive, innovative and effective teaching methods that promote a stimulating learning environment. She's responsible for preparing learning materials for several courses (both management and practical courses), and devising relevant practical activities for students. Responsible for organizing and giving demonstrations on practical courses as well as liaising with hospitality establishments on attaching students to the industry. Responsible for carrying out teaching and assessing several hospitality courses allocated within the department; namely; Introduction to Marketing, Front Office Operations & Management, Customer Care & Guest Relations, Food & Beverage Service, Bar & Wine Knowledge, and Industrial Attachment Placement. Responsible for supervising undergraduate projects and other experiential learning programmes. Responsible for developing undergraduate and graduate courses. Initiate, promote and participate in research projects within and outside the university. Participate in academic leadership programmes. Provide professional and community services as well as initiate linkages and fundraising.

Dr. Sawe Belsoy is a senior lecturer in the Department of Hotel and Hospitality Management and has been lecturing in the University since 1997. He began at the Department of Tourism before moving to establish the Department of Hotel and Hospitality Management in 2002. He is an associate member of Marketing Society, Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development and founder member of Association of Hospitality Professionals and Practitioners in Africa (AHPPA). He is currently the Chair of Strategy and Development committee at the STHEM and Budget committee at the department. Belsoy has graduated several Masters’ students and is supervising PhDs’. He has participated in reviewing and developing several curriculums for undergraduate, masters and PhD in Hospitality Management. Belsoy serves the community as an educationist and board chair of secondary schools in Nandi County.

Rose Burugu is a lecturer in the Department of Hotel and Hospitality Management, School of Tourism, Hospitality & Events Management, Moi University, Kenya. Rose is a commonwealthscholar and holds a PhD in Tourism Management [From Moi University in collaboration with Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK], a Master’s in Business management [Strategic Management option] and a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management both from Moi University-Kenya. I am a member of Tourism Professional Association, Eco tourism Kenya and enjoys working with and mentoring students. Through various collaborations and or appointments I offer relevant training in HR and strategic management.
